Rihanna's Reaction To 'Anti' AOTY Grammy Snub Is Very Telling

The never-ending fierce battle between Beyonce’s Beyhive and Rihanna’s Navy fanbases rages on with Tuesday’s Grammy announcements. Both Bey and Rih released great projects this year that earned them multiple nods. Beyonce scored a history-making nine nominations
while Rihanna received eight. While both artists will be competing for
Record of the Year in February, it appears Rihanna is feeling some type
of way about Anti being snubbed for Album of the Year. That’s
totally understandable, but it seems the bad gal feels Beyonce may have
played a part in the album not making the cut.
Instead of pulling a Kanye West and airing out the Recording Academy on social media, Rihanna is letting her die-hard fans express just how she feels about Anti’s
snub. The pop star “liked” an Instagram caption blasting the Grammys
for ignoring her album so that Beyonce can shine brighter. Scandalous.
“I
think they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else *cough cough*
[lemon emoji]. Cause if they wouldn’t have played her she would have
been in the lead with most Grammy nods,” read a Rihanna fan’s Instagram
caption in response to the Grammy announcements. Obviously, the lemon
emoji is about Beyonce. Queen Bey’s Lemonade was nominated for Album of the Year and had the most Grammy nominations this year. “F*ck you Grammys. ANTI did amazing things this year and y’all played her. I think y’all shook,” the pissed fan added.

Who knows if “they” are “shook,” but BET pulled down an entire op-ed piece earlier this year that explained why Anti was a better album than Lemonade.
Also, Kanye accused MTV of giving Beyonce
the Video of the Year VMA because the icon said the only way she’d
perform is if she won. God only knows what he’ll say if Bey wins over
Drake and Justin Bieber for Album of the Year. Guess we’ll find out in February.
