Drake meets Rihanna's family backstage at the MTV VMAs after declaring he's in love with her in gushing speech

We don't think anyone had a better time at the MTV VMAs last night thank Drake , not even Rihanna .
The rapper announced he was in love with the Bajan singer while presenting her the MTV Vanguard award last night in New York causing their fans to go into meltdown and the cute moments didn't end there.
The on-off couple then headed backstage where RiRi was congratulated on her achievement by her family including her mother, grandfather and brother Rorry and the Views rapper made sure he was right in on the action, shmoozing with the potential in-laws.

In a string of SnapChat pictures, Drake can be seen posing with the Fenty family and he can't wipe the huge grin off his face.
He was also caught having a sweet conversation with Ri's grandfather, who said he wanted to go back to the Toronto restaurant where the couple first met, something the Canadian star mentioned in his gushing speech.

A very smitten Drake then headed out with the 28-year-old star and her entourage to celebrate her night and if that wasn't enough, he then shared ANOTHER message on Instagram dedicated to the Anti songstress.
He wrote alongside the shot: "This is a night for us all to be thankful for what you have done for us! You have affected so many of our lives in the best way possible. Tonight we celebrate you! @badgalriri"
