According to recent updates, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are planning to tie the knot sooner than expected.
OK! Magazine reported that the rumored couple will soon make their public appearance not just as a couple, but “as a newly engaged couple.” The publication further claimed that Holmes and Foxx are planning to have a small, quiet wedding in an out-of-the-way place.
However, the actress is very much afraid of Tom and has no idea how he is going to react.
“She’s afraid that he’ll be angry that Suri will have a new father figure and come crashing back into her and Suri’s lives,” and insider explained.
If this was not enough, recent reports suggest that Jamie has been trying to adopt Suri before marrying her mother.

A source claimed Foxx might actually be planning to adopt Suri, as his own daughter.
According to an earlier report from Radar Online, Cruise and Holmes’ divorce agreement prohibits her from publicly dating until 2017.
An insider further revealed to the outlet that when Holmes decided to part ways from the Mission: Impossible star, she signed an agreement with him that states that she cannot publicly embarrass him, talk about Scientology, or publicly date another man until 2017.
“She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri,” the insider further added. “Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”
This isn’t the first time rumors about Katie and Jamie have swirled online. Earlier this year, Us Weekly reported that the Dawson’s Creek actress was seen in a dressing room with Foxx.
“They left from the dressing room area a few minutes apart from each other, but she was hanging out in his dressing room with him after the show,” an insider allegedly revealed to the magazine.
If these reports about Foxx adopting Suri and then marrying Katie are true, then the actress might have to return the $5 million she received from Tom for child support.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Foxx’s net worth is $100 million, and he is capable of taking care of Katie and Suri if all the rumors are true.
Meanwhile, Katie is trying very hard to impress Jamie’s daughter, Annalise Bishop. According to the New York Daily News, the Batman Begins actress took her daughter and Annalise for sushi at the chic Honor Bar in Beverly Hills.

“They sat on each side of Katie in the booth,” claimed the outlet’s source. “They were in and out quite quickly; about 30 minutes from about 7:30pm.”
On the other hand, Foxx has adamantly denied that he is more than just a friend to Holmes.
“What I’ve learned about society today is that they’re so thirsty. Especially in tabloid world and social media world, they’re so thirsty to find any story,” he said. “Sometimes when you read the stuff you’re like, ‘Wow! That’s so not true!’
Is Tom going to give away Suri that easily?
According to an earlier report, it’s been nearly three years since Tom saw his daughter in person, and although he used to speak to her in the past, lately things have not been going so well between them.
In Touch Weekly reports that the Top Gun star used to have Skype chats with Suri, but these days, he does not hold much weight with her.

However, Gossip Cop debunked these adoption rumors. Foxx’s representatives told the outlet that the current reporting is “completely false.”
After ending her marriage with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes is not officially involved with anyone. Their representatives have always denied her involvement with Jamie Foxx or any other celebrity. It is safe to say that all the reports about Foxx adopting Suri and Foxx marrying Katie by the end of this year are not true.
